Evening Clinic/Demoes
These events are my favorite way to meet new paddlers and help them get started. I think that these events are much better than a big weekend “Demo Day” because I can spend more time with each customer. Unlike a weekend demo that tends to be more like a pony ride, an Evening Clinic will teach you the skills to make your own evaluation. You’ll be able to:
- Learn about the 8 points of contact with any kayak and how each contact point effects comfort and performance.
- Learn the control strokes needed to evaluate how a boat turns, tracks, and responds to lean turns.
- Brace techniques so that you no longer have to worry about a boat being tippy! This allows you to focus of features that will matter in the long run.
- Compare my lines of boats with any other from the store where the clinic is taking place. Most stores will let you try other boats that you are interested in along side Eddyline, Emotion, or Pak Boats. I’m not scared of the competition!
- Try all the neat paddles, pfds, drysuits, and cool gadgets from the accessory lines I represent.
